We work to reduce environmental impacts associated with our operations through the environmental initiatives described below. Continuous improvement is part of our business approach.
The SITS Environmental Improvement Programme focuses on improving environmental performance throughout production. The initiatives presented here concern heating and electricity use at our production sites.
Our factories use heat recovered from production machinery or biofuel for heating. Solar panels at our production sites generate part of the electricity used in our factories.
A fabric shapes how a piece of furniture looks, feels and fits into everyday life. Our approach to material selection brings together environmental considerations and product quality.
Our collection includes fabrics with recycled content. Nori is one example: a chenille fabric made with 64% recycled polyester and 36% SEAQUAL upcycled yarn.
These percentages describe the upholstery fabric, not the complete piece of furniture. For composition and care instructions, please refer to the specification for your selected fabric and version.
For us, quality means paying attention to how furniture is designed and made.
ACTONA POLAND Sp. z o.o. holds an ISO 9001:2015 certificate for its quality management system, issued by TÜV Rheinland Polska Sp. z o.o. The certified scope covers the design, production and sale of furniture.
